TapXO Community Guidelines

TapXO is for friendly games and communities. You may not use it for threats, harassment, hate, sexual exploitation, graphic violence, impersonation, scams, spam, doxxing, malware, or illegal activity.
Community access requires explicit acceptance of the current version of these Guidelines and the Terms of Use after applicable family and age checks. Acceptance of an older version expires when the in-app policy version changes.
Your safety controls
Block hides a participant’s messages on your device and prevents direct messaging. Report lets you choose a reason and, only after a disclosure warning, include plaintext evidence. A community owner can remove members and rotate the encrypted room epoch. The privacy wipe erases encrypted chat data on your device.
How encrypted-room moderation works
TapXO cannot silently inspect private encrypted messages. When a player chooses Report, TapXO warns that the selected plaintext and evidence will be disclosed. After confirmation, a recipient-addressed encrypted report goes to the community owner and a separate authenticated moderation submission is attempted to TapXO. The app distinguishes a sent submission from a pending or unavailable one. Community owners are responsible for room-level action; TapXO may act on the evidence it actually receives. Public and legacy server-backed rooms may also be moderated by TapXO.
Parents and younger players
Freeform chat and emotes are off by default for children under 13 and require adult action to enable. Never share an address, school, phone number, password, invite capability, financial information, or real-time location.
Enforcement
Depending on the room, available evidence, and the system that can enforce an action, responses may include hiding content, blocking, member removal, room closure, rate limiting, or restricting access to server-backed services. TapXO cannot remotely erase ciphertext already received by another participant or promise action by independent Nostr relays or nearby couriers. Cryptographic transport does not excuse unlawful or abusive conduct.
